• Since 2001, Kirsi Mikkola has worked as a consultant and trainer for electronic business and marketing in regional and company-specific ICT utilisation projects.

Kirsi Mikkola has

• Operated as a certified Experience Trainer for the Lapland Centre of Expertise for the Experience Industry since 13.4.2007.
• Operated as a Haaga-Perho coordinated Q1000 Programme Trainer since July 2006.
• Operated as a Network Tutor for the AVERKO network coordinated by the Open Online University of Applied Sciences, and as a Course Material Planner and Content Producer for the network environment in numerous projects since 2002.
• Operated as a Part-Time Teacher of internet business and data processing for the Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences for the period 2000 – 2007 on the Finnish and English language training programmes leading to the qualification of Bachelor of Business Administration.
• Operated as Coordinator for data processing vocational qualification training programme of the Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences during the years 1999 – 2000.
• Operated in a number of internet service implementation projects, as a certified Trainer on the public and private sectors during the years 1999 – 2001.
• Operated as Data Processing Trainer in the Inforengas Project coordinated by the Town of Tampere, and at the Nokia Adult Education Centre on courses intended for adult students, during the years 1996 – 1998.

Project Management & Leadership

• Kirsi Mikkola has operated as Project Manager for the start-up project for the enhancement of expertise of e-commerce for the Province of Lapland (Lapland Online) for the period 1 November 2007 – 31 January 2008 at the regional Council of Lapland in Rovaniemi.
• Operated as Project Manager for the Lapland Portal Project for the Regional Council of Lapland in Rovaniemi during the period 1 May – 30 September 2007. 
• Operated as Project Manager in the collective coordination project for the enhancement of expertise of e-commerce for the Province of Lapland (Lapland Online 2013) for the period 1 November 2006 – 30 June 2007 at the Lapland Centre of Expertise for the Experience Industry in Rovaniemi.
• Operated as ICT Manager & Coordinator for Lapland Marketing Ltd for the period 12 November 2001 – 31 August 2006, implementing the Lapland Tourism Strategy 2003 – 2006.
• Consulted and implemented a number of national level electronic commerce data system acquisition processes for the public administration and private sectors.
• Operated as a Manager of a software house unit in wide-reaching and demanding software development programmes during 1999 – 2001, in Rovaniemi
